ROG'S VIEWPOINT - Willie Soke (Billy Bob Thornton) reluctantly heads to Chicago with angry little Marcus (Tony Cox) to rob a charity for a big payoff. Unbeknownst to Willie, his estranged mother (Kathy Bates) is the brains behind this robbery. Even knockout performances from Thornton and Bates
can't save this endless barrage of gross-out jokes broken up by a minimal and familiar plot. Christina Hendricks provides eye candy as the married charity head who lusts after the bad Santa. Brett Kelly returns as the dimwitted Thurman Merman who idolizes Willie as a father figure. The humor mostly misses the mark in this recycled sequel, but there are a few genuine laughs and some Christmas songs. With a sack full of coal, "Bad Santa 2" is number one on the naughty list. **
